T29, 2 kills, 3318 damage, 2nd Class, Tanker - Sniper, High Caliber, Sand River, Assault

In today's replay I'm taking the T29 for a spin. This tier 7 American Heavy Tank is capable of doing a decent amount of damage but also blocking a lot. This tank is equipted with a 105 mm T5E1 which has a decent rate of fire, very good penetration and damage and a good aiming time. However the accuracy isn't the best for it's tier. The armor is a good news/bad news situation. The hull armor isn't going the stop tier 7 or higher guns, and maybe some tier 6 tanks won't have to be that accurate to go through the hull of this tank wich is 102 mm thick, with the side being 76 and the rear being only 52 mm. However the turret is the sweet spot of this tank: the turret is 279 mm at the front which is almost inpenetrable, the side is 127 and the rear is 102. The weak spot on the turret is something that a lot of poeple mistake in. The "ears" on the side of the turret are "no hitbox" zones which means that if you hit these, you will penetrate but you wil do zero damage. If you want to do damage, you need to hit the commander's hatch on top of the turret which is much weaker then the rest of the turret however it's a small target especially if the tank is over a ridge line. Speaking of ridge line, the T29 can work ridge lines as no other tank: along with the very strong turret armor, this tank also get's 10° of gun depression wich is very good.
