Thanks to Olivia for stimulating this wonderful lesson (and for letting me know this beautiful song). And thanks to the Maestro, as always, for the incredible amount of things he's teaching me (us...)... a great Autumn to everyone 😊...

Thanks Tony!!! ❤❤❤
I love your arrangements on this! I will try this. I remember playing it in key of CM7, , , was ‘ finger friendlier for me. But I wanna try this version. I enjoyed Dessifinado tutorial from you and the rest. I would have not been able to play it nicely without your tutorials❤❤❤❤

I love your videos, I'm still a beginner on the piano so sometimes I just watch it without practicing alongside it because you make every lesson so much fun, peaceful and enjoyable to watch. Those 12 minutes go by like It's nothing! Thank you! Btw, I'm brazilian and you nailed the pronunciations!

Wonderful! What a joy to have this channel ... I have just taken on the piano on my late 20s as I love bossa nova and even though I'm far off playing to this level you make it seem much more approachable than I would've thought.
As a native Brazilian, I can say your pronunciations are on point!
If I may suggest 1st "Ligia" and then 2nd "Luiza" by Tom Jobim also would be lovely to watch your take on it ... Some of my favorites from him and its a unique bossa serenade mix you find often in his compositions that are lesser known internationally and I've only seen Brazilian pianists breaking it down.
Keep up the great job! Liked and subscribed.

Opening of intro is evocative of Love for Sale. Have you ever done of a tutorial on that great song? Enjoy all of your stylings, reharms and discussions. Thanks much.

Your help is coming at the right time, as I was working on it for a few days now and was a bit lost on some chords...

At 5:50, you say one think of the scale as Db Lydian or Eb Mixolydian - and there are a lot of way to think of it. Yes, it's also the Ab major scale. 🙂
And Romeo and Juliet? Also, a bit of Phantom of the Opera. I call that the Gothic Cadence.

Same comment as others below: I love the way you enhance these songs with your harmonization. I also enjoyed your version of Insensatez and Meditacão. But I am always struggling with how to fill with the left hand and combine it with right to render the rythm. Could you revisit this one and show how you do this in the B part?

Talking of Jobim, have you done Children's Games? One of my favourites. Even on first hearing, it fills you with nostalgia.

The minor chord with the major seven reminds me of Prokofiev...

Dear Tony, could you analyse Freddie Hubbard's The Core and the Intrepid Fox ? And also, Mile Davi's Nefertiti ? This channel is GREAT !

Hey Tony, I'm almost ready to do a mini gig in my local bar. I'll call it "Songs in the key of Eb" should last a maximum of half an hour! hehe. I know it's better to use different keys, just a bit of fun (I like your chart for "Pure Imagination"). I see you're up to 78.2, hope you get the 100k soon. I do find you seem to have more notes in the middle of your keyboard than I do. ie: I find the left and right hand sometimes almost trip over each other. not sure how you avoid that?
