I loved how little this movie gave away. Almost no character background, dialogue, or interaction, but you feel for him so much. As always, Mr. Mikkelsen gave it his all. That is one underrated actor, people.

This only shows how one brilliant actor can make all the difference, the movie is 10/10, Mads Mikkelsen for Oscar.

Finished this last night. This was a great movie, made me so thankful for things I take for granted like food, shelter, and warmth. The last few seconds of this movie really had a stong effect on me.
Mads Mikkelson is such a talented and versatile actor.

Just watched this movie. Incredible. One of the best flicks I’ve seen!

He kept saying „You‘re not alone. It‘s okay.“ and I just realised at the end of the film that he kept saying that because he knows how it feels to be alone and to not know if it‘s going to be okay. And he didn‘t want the woman to go through what he did, so he kept making sure she knew it. This detail really affected me.

This movie is the most brilliant allegory of human's ordeal i've seen since a very long time. With the right amount of courage, generosity, empathy and perseverance, yes, "it's going to be all right" . Mads Mikkelsen's performance is abstolutely stunning and Joe Penna renders a rythmic yet beautiful and contemplative movie. It still haunts me but in a good way. Thank you

I teared after watching it. Releasing all the tension i was keeping through out the whole movie. I could feel his pain and will of survival. Great job!

I just watched this movie. It’s amazing, authentic and unspeakable acting, realistic, and has me wishing hard for their rescue.
They weren’t lying when they said one of the best of natural survival. Definitely inspiring, I would always watch it in my time if I feel like I can’t pull through. Sends an unbelievably strong message and brings awareness about isolation with scarce resources, perseverance, and the effects of rescue teams.

Now this is how you make a great trailer! Very little words, potent emotions, intriguing and chilling ambience, genuine thrills - all flawlessly assembled!

So I was watching something else on Youtube, this trailer popped up as an ad... I saw Mads (huge fan), decided to watch for a second, watched the whole trailer, came here to comment. Just wanted you to know, ads work sometimes, and this movie looks amazing! 😉

Heard all about this movie on the Feb 13 episode of the Corridor Cast podcast. Fascinating to hear the backstory of how this film came about and the energy Joe needed to make this happen. Looking forward to it. Keep it going Joe.

Arguably one of the best movies of the year, and THE best performance by Mads Mikkelsen.

Spoilers alert
Even though no one will read, i know .. 😂

If you saw the movie without understand the deep meaning i think it will be an “OK” movie with great performance.
But the way i see it made me tears at the end.
So i think every thing in this movie is somthing else but mads.
Mads is the real human in the movie, the survival is the goal, the plane is comfort zone, the bear is fear, the girl is the hope.
So every time mads want to go out there is always the bear ( fear ) and he stays in the plane ( comfort zone ) and waiting for the help, so when he found the girl ( the hope ) even if she is sick and near to die, he stick with her and he want to help her ( he have a little hope to survive and he stick with the littel ), so every time he says “it will be ok” he told him self and making hope to not die.
So when he realise the girl is dead ( there is no hope ) he fall down in the hole and break his leg and then he fight for not dying under the rock and comback to the girl and he found her alive ( to the hope ) and she says HELLO so he start crying and said i’m sorry ( so the hope is back and he is sorry for lossing hope ).
SO IN THE END, when the chopper is gone away he lost hope and she sleep and near to die, so he said “it’s ok” and grab her hand and lay down with her, the same way she laid, so they are mirror now, and he completly lost her but the hand is pointing up so there is hope but we cant see it, then the chopper is coming back and they SURVIVED.

So every thing in your world “will be ok” and you will achive your goal if you have just a little bet of hope even if you think there is no hope.
just don’t stay in your comfort zone and waiting for help.
Try and Try and Try...
