You can drop to surf straight from silo, you just have to land it perfectly so it won't hit you, but it's much faster than this

the strafing is easy but i cant get the jump from the "mini-marshmellow" right, there is so little space that i just fall off every time

you probably lost some speed by jumping from the roof to the surf, why not just walk onto the surf, i wonder if the surf will be just as fast without the jump
