I have to say, I never laughed a lot at SNL sketches, but the political stuff they've been doing lately with the talented Kate McKinnon - well I have to say, it's absolutely golden! :D And this is coming from a German who's quite proud of our chancellor. ;)

Being a German I don't think Kate really imitated Merkel's inanimate body language and her overly long-winded rhetoric that well. The peculiar thing about Merkel is that while she is one of the more powerful politicians in Europe, her appearance is the personified boredom. Kate got that awkwardness in the beginning to some degree, at least.

But the part about "in Germany minutes don't roll over, they stand up and they get right back to work!" really cracked me up! In general, I really love Kate, she is a fantastic comedian!

As a Brit, I am still crying over the fact that we voted to leave this amazing woman and stand on our own. I miss EU
