Did compare the j-go branded one and the generic one? In terms of how fast it charged?

That J-Go Tech cable is low quality. It starts coming apart at the base of the surface connector after only a month... Shockingly, the Sisyphy nylon braided and metal braided cables available on Amazon last a lot longer.

Hi, I just bought a Surface book 3, and I have a dell wd15 dock which i use work my work computer (dell latitude 5490). The wd15 dock does work with my surface book 3 via usb c, however it is not as smooth as i would like. When I plug it, only 50% of the time charges my laptop, i have to unplug and plug it in until it starts charging. The other thing is that the wd15 dock is connected via hdmi to my monitor, and when i plug the dock into my surface book, , the external monitor is not detected. i have to unplug the hdmi from the wd15 and plug it in again, and it works. So i have to do all these to have the dock charge and provide connection to my monitor. Am i missing something here? like a driver or something? Or is this expected since the dock is DELL and my laptop is MICROSOFT?

I would not recommend purchasing the Jgo Tech cable. I purchased the usb c-type charging cable and the wall box charger a total of $60 to use the charger. What I received I would expect from a dollar store charging cable. I realized the 1st week that the wire is exposed at the strain relief and the pvc cover point of the cable. The cable had minimal handling as it was in a stationary place. I have emailed and no reply. I have called the service number is non-service. I was asked for a review at the 30 days of purchase but no response to any request of a replacement.

I got an adapter for my surface pro 5 and got a usb c 20V\3A cable and got a charger from anker that charge 60 watts, it does work but i am afraid of one thing when i charge my device while in use sometimes with multiple opened apps the device and the charger do become so hot, even with the regular charger the same happened, do i have to be afraid for the batteries or it's normal? But it does charger perfectly

I purchased one of those J-Go tech usb-c charges for my Surface Pro 6 and it does not charge. The light comes on and lights up and even the little lighting bolt on the battery flashes as if it's charging, but it never charges the battery. And in fact, I left it there for an hour and the battery just kept draining. I did email the company for a refund and they obliged.
