This brand is the one to watch for 2025!

In it's 6th year of business, Islander has cemented it's position as one of the most affordable watches for enthusiasts. Today, Islander is releasing their first proper dress watch, the Islander Astoria. A reduced size model affordably priced that might be the first Islander for many customers.

Put a black leather strap on the black dial, and a brown leather strap on the white dial. Dont do the cloth straps. Also this looks exactly like the Lorier Zephyr.

Islander has gone from homage brand to micro brand to not so micro brand over a few years. So much variety from the brand at this point. This looks great for a dress watch.

Watch looks great. Love the Alpinist-esque cathedral hands and the lumed roman numerals (so you actually have legible points of reference in the dark). Having just the Islander name rather the logo on the dial is a really good choice for this particular watch. Not a fan of the canvas-topped straps, but straps are something I tend to change anyway, so hardly a deal-breaker.

That is so close to perfect!! Love it. No logo, smaller, dress watch. All great.
Do you have any plans to release a version without lume? I like lume on most watches but if you are going for a vintage look and a dress watch I can't understand why there would ever be lume on it. That blue dial with a nice leather strap would look so good.

Thank you very much for your very interesting thoughts. I totally agree. A few years ago I started with Casio and Citizen. In 2022 I chose *amzswiss* Breitling and Rolex. Conclusion: All watches run accurately and are of very good quality over the years. The only difference is that with a Breitling or a Rolex you can show the world how "successful" a person you are. Now I have started to sell my expensive watches and use these watches for what they are really for: telling the time...
