War Thunder's Newest CAS Shredder

The US tank tech tree in War Thunder has lacked good options for counter CAS planes for a while, at least at the lower battle ratings. The most recent update addresses this problem with the addition of the T77E1 MGMC, an M24 Chaffee light tank modified to carry six .50 cal HMGs. It's pretty good at tearing apart planes and light vehicles alike.

Correct me if I'm wrong, dedicated incendiary rounds is worse then API. Sometimes at distance it may lack the penetration it needs to hit anything that may actually be ignited. I know this is a bit of a special case because of fighting a lot of armored vehicles, but when it comes to planes API is my absolute beloved. That's why I love American .50 cals, they often get belts made entirely of API-T, which is everything I would ever need. It has a tracer, it ignites components, it has the penetration needed to hit said components

Fun fact: When the F-15 shot down the satellite, the satellite didn’t have the chaff and flares modification thus why the F-15 won. Satellite skill issue. 104-0KD, Murica second to none.

since you said the ratel 90 wasn't bad, you should play the objectively awful ratel version; the ratel 20. it has the same bad mobility as the 90, but with the same weapons as the marder IFV, which doesn't sound bad at first, until you realise you're expected to fight king tigers and jumbo pershings with 7 slow moving ATGMs and an autocannon that can't even pen a panther's side (day 21)
