Social security payments, healthcare, retirement fund and a few other things come from your gross income as well, but are not part of the income tax. One a million euro gross salary annualy you would get 440688 euros.

Absolutely crazy. Should be 30% MAXIMUM on income above 250000. Anything below 5-25%
