Scattered rain chances continue once again through the afternoon and evening here in Northeast Ohio. This will be the trend through the weekend for us. Some heavy downpours could be expected in lieu of a current Areal Flood Advisory in effect for portions of Ashtabula, Geauga, and Trumbull until 5:15pm.

A warm front lifting north across the area is sparking isolated showers and thunderstorms that will take us into the evening with overall trends for surface temperatures to remain in the mid to low 70s overnight along with muggy dewpoint temperatures. Both in alignment is likely to yield patchy to dense fog under light to calm winds. Please be advised that early morning commuters should be cautious.

For the weekend, consider the possibility that any outdoor plans could pause with the threat for isolated showers and storms both Saturday and Sunday. High temperatures will edge towards 90. A cold front arrives on Monday into Tuesday which will temper conditions for midweek back near or slightly below average with much more tolerable humidity levels.
