Preston Hill Quarry 12 jan 2014

Diving in Preston Hill Quarry, inverkeithing, Scotland. A first video upload using The GoPro Hero 3+ Black Edition. it shows the quarry to be full of car wrecks.

I live locally and I'm always weirdly and earily attracted to this quarry...I don't understand how so many folk have died here...why is that?...I mean its an enclosed area of water, no currents, pretty clear (ish) some debri right down the bottom but yet experienced divers have died. Its it really rlly Deep. People say its the water temp but surely divers are equipped, the temp can't be that different from water everywhere else? Others say they have jumped in and hit the rocks or got caught on metal etc...its a lovely site I wish the owners whoever they are would develop the site its screaming out for development

I wonder if all these wrecks are on the bottom where that teenager jumped in and was killed a few days ago.

do you carry some kind of knife in case your foot gets caught on some barbed wire or something
