Beloved Idyll | Joshua Kyan Aalampour

This is the MIDI tutorial to my piece "Beloved Idyll" - a short piano waltz inspired by feelings of sadness and nostalgia.

Some easter eggs about the piece:

-The main theme includes a variation of my leitmotif.
-The reversed piano notes resemble a yearning for a simpler past.
-The final resolution is found in the beginning, making it cyclical. This is supposed to mirror a perpetual cycle of nostalgia and recurring melancholy.
-It was originally called “Return to Versailles 2”
