International Koi Judge Shawn McHenry explains the origin of the Kujaku Koi carp as he introduces the two varieties of fish they bred to develop Kujaku. Dedicated Japanese breeders used Kin Matsuba and Shusui in breeding programs in the early 1900's to development a new variety of fish that would be a game changer for the hobby. In Closing, Kujaku, known as the Peacock Koi, is a stunning carp that is highly desired by koi collectors across the world. No collection is complete without this beautiful fish.

I can tell Shawn either frequently speaks in another language or speaks to people who have a difficult time understanding English. I like to call it "Traveler's Tongue" lol. I noticed the phenomenon when I'd return home from abroad. Speaking to people at home, I would not conjugate verbs, simplify what I was saying, put more emphasis on body language, and raise my tone at the end of a statement (as in, "you following what I'm saying?") Totally irrelevant observation, I'm just procrastinating because I have 7 or 8 aquariums that need cleaned.
