A WhatsApp scam victim sent me an email of how he was scammed out of $243,000 (inheritance) to a pair of Asian women scammers. He was victim of Pig Butchering Scam.

First, they used pretty ladies n handsome men's photo to attract you. Then slowly pull your interest n bind your heart with their stories. They study you secretly by your story then get you into deep feeling with them. Finally they gained your full trust n then the 'game of money' start to function as planned.

Most of the dating scammers want you to send money for the airline ticket, Visa or passport fees to come over to the USA.

This scam is horrible! You are manipulated like crazy, it's like your brain is hacked. I lost 70k to this scam and I am now in debt. I had so many doubts but they gaslight and manipulate you until you give in. I wish I would have gotten out sooner but, better late than never.

Good to share, pig butchering scammers do have some red flags. Probably the victims have missed them & continued to be manipulated. Take home point is it's ok to chat online with strangers but please exercise discretion where money is involved.
