Could play this 100 times in a row and would still want to hear it again.

I know everyone hates Mike but I like his voice and chill delivery. He moves like an old man but he owns it. Also his restrained but well timed hand gestures. Anyone else agree?

I never even liked The Beach Boys when I was younger. As I've grown older, I realize just what musical geniuses they all were. Honestly, just beautiful, beautiful music that only they could make.

Once upon a time there was so much incredible music happening at once that a song like this could get overlooked...

There was nothing better than to live just 20 miles away from Huntington beach in So.California, growing up as a kid in the 1960's/70's, and listening to the Beach boys all summer long on K-EARTH 101....I would not have traded it for the World.

Amazing that this was only 6 years after their debut album and already they were writing nostalgic songs harkening back to their early hits, really shows how quickly everything changed throughout the 60s

One of, if not the, best "those were the days" songs ever.

Mike Love looked old as a young man, and young as an old man. Amazing!

There was so much good exciting music in the U.K. in the sixties, I never had time for any American groups. I am nearly 80 now. It looks like I have saved the best till last, I really appreciate the beach boys, Righteous Brothers, Walker Brothers and the rest of the brilliant American artists.

When I see these Ed Sullivan clips, I always think of watching the show with my Grandparents every Sunday...
They had a BIG Zenith console TV in the front room.... Grandad sat in his recliner on one side, grandma sat in her green cushy chair on the other side, and I usually laid on the floor in between them.... Really takes me back to a simpler time...(for me, anyway... Ha)

Poignant how the late Dennis Wilson is back there happy, healthy, looking awesome, and holding this song together. An underappreciated musical force himself (Pacific Ocean Blue). 🙏

The rock and roll moment - 0:45 when the camera pans into Dennis and he makes eye contact every step of the way. He knew two million girls were looking back 😉
