I can't fault Arsenal, even if their fans can be annoying at times. Truth is, City are a superior squad & to even be mixing it with them right to the wire is an excellent effort. Arteta is getting as much as anyone could get out of them. Fair play for what he is doing. But Pep is king & the cream usually rises to the top over 38 games. it is what it is.

I found it an interesting juxtaposition that on the day that Bayer Leverkusen were winning the Bundesliga for the first time aided in no small part by Granit Xhaka, that Arsenal were losing whilst sadly lacking someone with his controlling influence and determination to win.

Let's be honest did anyone really think Arsenal were going to win every game from January until the end of the season. They were bound to drop points at some stage. Only difference instead of being one point ahead they are now two points behind. Will Man city win their last six games? I doubt it. Same with Liverpool.I think they have at least a draw in there. However I believe Arsenal NOW need to win the last six remaining games and that will be enough. Would not be surprised at all if this League is decided on goal difference

I agree with Merson, I think the title race is all but over aswell.
Yes the gap is only 2 points but I think Arsenal and Liverpool will drop more points than City will.

I'm a Newcastle supporter so I'm very much neutral in this season's title race; but saying it's over for Arsenal is a bit dramatic isn't it? Arsenal have been fantastic this season. It's still very much a 3 horse race with only 2 points separating 1st from 2nd & 3rd ... Plus there is still 6 games left to play/18 points up for grabs. Wasn't Arteta told in his press conference that the top has changed 18 times already ... It ain't over for either of the top 3 by a long shot. Liverpool losing to Palace; yes it was a big shock but it definitely was not a shock for Arsenal to lose to Aston Villa. Villa are No mugs. Tho I believe Man City will win it again; they haven't exactly been 100% this season so it's still up for grabs.
