There were tons of people complaining about CVT, but nowadays, it is not a huge problem considering its fuel efficiency and quality improvement. You want a sport car, go somewhere else, if you need a family sedan with some sportiness, try Maxima.

if you actually no something about gear change CVT is the way to go because of it consecutive movement.

Putting sexy sheetmetal over a CVT and calling it a Sports Car is a bit like slapping some cheese and a bun on a slab of Spam and calling it a gourmet burger. The Maxima strikes me as a mild-mannered extrovert that gets decent grades and is a varsity athlete but spends too much time trying not to offend.

Haven't driven one but I love the look. Would I buy it? No. But I would lease one for 24 mos. I would be afraid the mid cycle refresh will be toned down like Hyundai did with the Sonata, and then like the Sonata, would look dated after a couple of years.
