Oversimplified's channel could've been much different. The World War I videos, which were the first on the channel, were intended to be more profane. Webster dropped the profanity so the videos could be shown in school and because his mom didn't approve of the language.

Next Oversimplified is an Irish-American who is actually fluent in a language from across a different pond. Webster lived in Japan for awhile and revealed he's actually fluent in Japanese.

And finally, Oversimplified actually has a second job separate from YouTube. Stuart Webster spends his time offline working in film production. Despite what is probably a successful career, his imdb page only credits his work on Oversimplified.
