What is 50G Ethernet?

Показать описание
50G Ethernet was approved in December 2018. The key difference which separates 50G Ethernet from 25G Ethernet is the use of PAM-4 modulation. RS-FEC encoding is used to correct sing bit and burst errors. IEEE 802.3cd is the standard which defines 50G Ethernet. Different sections of a typical 50G Ethernet application are defined by different IEEE 802.3cd specifications.
