My Glowworm stopped working today in the freezing cold conditions. I kept pressing the reset, but it kept stopping and displaying F28. The online fault codes guide from Glowworm is useless. But other videos on YouTube said to thaw out the condensate pipe as this may be frozen. I have just done this and hey presto the boiler now works. No expensive plumber needed. Just look for the plastic pipe coming out of the bottom of the boiler and going through the wall to outside. Find the pipe outside and pour hot (not boiling) water on it to thaw it out. Get hot water from boiling a kettle, but mix with some cold before pouring on the plastic pipes. Job done, pipe is clear and boiler now works. Check for other YouTube videos to show you how if you are not sure. Get the heating on!

My gas card finished and the gas supplied got cut off which resulted in code f29. I topped up my gas card and reset it and its all good again! Thank you so much!

You don’t need to press both buttons. Just pressing the power button works exactly the same.

Is there any other way to reset it after receiving F.28? For example, by waiting specific timeout or shutdown and up the power?

Tried it countless times but no better. What I do see though is that your temp is 19c but my boiler is showing 6c after reset. I don't know if it's because of the cold weather but in the end I've contacted the professionals out 👍

F.28 means the gas is closed, so you have to control the gas first and then do like the video
