Easy to spot this type of player. Also when things are good there is the show boating and attitude but when it goes south, blame happens. Sad part is alot of coaches and parents let it happen. Its what goes on at home and how kids are coached early on that determines if they will be like this.

One of the biggest compliments I ever got about my son was how he smiled all the time whether or not he struck out or had a base hit. Only time he showed emotion was when he got rocked for a bunch of runs as a starting pitcher in the most flashy and farthest away tourney his travel ball team has done, and it wasn't blame he showed, he was just upset with himself and he didn't show it until he got in the dugout and sat in the corner with tears, he wanted to be successful. He is a decent player, plays Travel Baseball, has been on a few All star Teams but has been passed over more than a few times for a flashy more attitude kid. I keep telling myself it will all pay off one day when daddy isnt there to pick the roster and someone doesn't put up with the kid that is about himself.
