Travel with me in the final part of this unique travel vlog across the heart of the former Austrian Empire, as we attempt an ambitious culinary challenge ending in Vienna. This journey takes us through four countries using only europe travel, testing the limits of both public transport and our appetite for strudel. We are now on the final leg of of the Apple Strudel Challenge, where we attempt to devour 4 unique apple strudels in 4 countries in just 24 hours! From the baking traditions of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, we seek out this Central European baking delicacy and this time we are tracking down the tasty treat in Brno, Czechia and Bratislava, Slovakia.
In Brno we discover a lovely specialist shop selling all types of sweet and savoury strudels - Natalia expresses how much strudel needs cinnamon and why she loves strudel so much! She lets Philip take over the shop window to review his chosen delicious morsels of strudel!
Then its on to Vienna by train and underground at breakneck speed to see if the challenge can be completed in under 24 hours!
Time is pressing ... but the Cafe Aida is perfectly located on the central Stephansplatz, famed for its Viennese coffees ... and strudel! But might Philip get a bit more than he can chew off?
