One Direction Vs. The Vamps! (Battle Of The Boy Bands)

Another week, another marathon of boy band madness. This time it's a British boy band battle between One Direction and The Vamps. Both had killer weeks so the question at hand, is who had the goofiest Hollywire interview?

Before we get to the goofy charm of our British dreamboats, let's declare our champion from last week. In the battle between Little Mix and Fifth Harmony, it was a sweeping victory for Little Mix. I love them both but it can't be denied that Little Mix is having a great month

Now let's kick things off with one of our current contenders. It's this little band called One Direction. Ever heard of it?

The boys have a major few days ahead — 1D Day Saturday, AMAs Sunday and Midnight Memories Monday. And to kick off the big week, the guys flew to LA — and promptly got mobbed at the airport. But they made it through the crowd and made their way to the X-Factor stage to blow our collective minds with Midnight Memories and Story of My Life.

And I interviewed my 1D boys backstage after the performance. And let me tell you, their totally charming goofball reputation holds up.

And now lets move on to The Vamps. The guys did an incredibly awesome cover of Hanson's 'MMMBop', which is everything my '90s-nostalgic heart has ever wanted.

They also announced that their next single will be 'Wildheart', which has only so far been released as a Live Music Video.

And if you're already a Vampette, you know that these guys are hilarious. I interviewed them on the Hollywire rooftop and they were at their goofiest.

OKAY. It's voting time. Which band gave the goofiest Hollywire interview? The charming boys of 1D or those crazy Vamps?

There's never going to be a band like One Direction. They're number one in numerous countries and they're so talented and it's unbelievable. I am so proud of their success, (considering I've been a fan since 2011), but The Vamps have something different. Just because The Vamps haven't had that much exposure, doesn't mean they're not talented, because they are.
