My issue as someone who plays a lot of Kingdom Hearts and action games in general is that I know how to play the game properly, but I always end up playing as Cloud for too long, play way too aggressively, and put myself in bad situations. His combos and abilities are just too satisfying lol

I will say it took a bit of adjusting, but I love the tactical gameplay that it has. In a way it’s like a hybrid of Kingdom Hearts and traditional turn based combat. I like it. Especially since every boss battle has me thinking on the fly to come up with real time strategies in order to secure the win.

I just spam square at smaller enemies but bosses really needs you think on what to do and not mash square, and I love it

You should have put trying to dodge roll trough stuff.That was the hardest thing for me to get used to .

Lol I felt a lot of this! Not being able to map attack to x took me way too long to get used to

And cure spells are just as likely to kill you as not cuz of the long animation. Potions best heals
