How to Change the Gear Shift Indicator Light Bulb on a 2008 Ford F150

I will show you how easy it is to replace the gear shift indicator light bulb. I didn't even use tools.

2005 150 here and this is a gem. my shifter actuator went out so i found how to fix that and now this. thank you!!!

Super easy thing to do. I ripped it apart and just found an orange colored bulb, wholla, now I can see what gear its in:).
Ford thought of everything in lariat, except putting a gear indicator on the cluster.
Much respect for video. Long live Lariat!!
I am a BMW fan at heart, but Lariat reminds of BMW quite a bit.
It will never stop, it can be fixed on the side of the road with no tools, and it can require numerous thousands of dollars of repairs, but it will still cruise down the road at 120 and be just fine

I tried doing this today because my light doesn’t work so I thought the bulb was bad I changed it to the new bulb and it still didn’t turn on. I’m guessing it’s the wire so I’m asking if you know how to get to it?
