BGA Rework of the RadeonHD 5770 Part 2

This two part video is to show how to rework (reflow) The connections that hold the vram and GPU on a graphics card. I use this method to repair PS3,xbox 360, HP laptops along with all other kinds.As I get more failed electronics I will post more instructional videos on how to rework them as well. I have 7 years experience as a pc tech. I love what I do and I hope you all enjoy watching. Any questions feel free to post coments

Thanks for the kind words, I also felt the same about the other videos that were posted about reworking of BGA chips with an ir station.So I thought why not just post up one showing the info that was needed to learn how to do it from start to finish.

Yes I have IR Thermometer and the temps are always spot on to what the T862++ is set for, the bottom plate as well.

Great video! Just to add to it though, when putting it back together clean the old and apply new thermal compound on there. Also some new thermal pad would not hurt either...

Hello. Thanks for sharing. What was wrong with it before fixing it? I have a Sapphire AMD R9 290 TRI-X 4GB that does not get any signal to the monitor (bought from ebay as faulty). The fans are spinning but that's it, no signal from the ports. What would you recommend me to do with it? Thanks :)
