The European Medicines Agency is broadening its investigation into a class of popular weight loss and diabetes drugs after patients in Iceland reported thoughts of self-harm and suicide after taking Ozempic and Saxenda. Investigation here will have to be thorough, not only for the teasons she mentioned, but also because for many people they are a last hope to stave off serious health issues...and some people feel SO awful on them that they know they can't stay on them. That sounds like that would be a terrible space to be in.

These drugs have had such a POSITIVE impact on people’s health, often taking them OFF all their other money making drugs (like me!) causing less profit for investors, so it doesn’t surprise me that they would look for ANY scary downside to discourage this move toward unprofitable health in their “customers”. 🤨

Something tells me this drug didn't help those people lose weight and since they were more than likely already having "those kind of thoughts", the lack of success made it worse and thus they blame the medicine. Plenty of people have been on Wegovy for some time now, Ozempic, and Saxenda fir years and no complaints of this issue
