It's talking about the universe and how life and Minecraft are like dreams, comparing the two to each other. The voices are supposedly "the universe" communicating with you, trying to tell you something similar to "the meaning of life", but withhold themselves, instead telling you words you cannot decipher.
Yeah there's a load of waffle in it, but the concept is kinda cool, speaking to the universe.

The blue text describes the player, as a person who like to live in another world, a higher world, higher than the ordinary folk. They wish ti achieve impossible feats, like flying on sticks powered by demons, or building vast complexes never possible in real life.

The reality behind the screen....possibly means what is happening in the player's brain. How the game, is changing how the player thinks, feels, and looks at the world around him/her, changing the perspective of the player...

it's funny. even notch has admitted that this is a massive troll. but this is kind of something that to me at least is really deep and meaningful. i mean, it gave me the shivers. but not only that it's something that i feel very strongly that is potentially true. not that there is higher power, but that there is unity between us and the universe. that there is an overarching sense of absolute oneness that i feel with myself and everything around me. call me sad: but it's a beautiful feeling!

I personally love it, for i am love. Just kidding, but it's awesome. I think you should just wake up again and continue and do something else, where you can find the hidden words in the text. Like this was only the first step, since Notch promised to put out updates even after minecraft is released (that's why it is Minecraft 1.0, and not just Minecraft). Awesome work, so awesome that i want more :)

Despite me not liking it in game, its still a great piece of art. Sure, its not minecraft, but its still interesting and thought provoking. If any one of you had a piece of mind at all, you would think so too. So instead of commending him on 'not busting up', why don't you think about how meaningful it is. You might see its not something you laugh about.
