I've watched so much Wemby in the last year and a half, I was the weird guy watching French games and telling anyone who would listen that this guy was coming and he's better than you've heard. I had extremely high expectations, I thought he'd be 1st team all defense, average 17-ish points and have 10 to 15 years to figure out the rest of his offensive game. He's arguably already the defensive player of the year and is offense is already where I was hoping it might someday be in year 4-5. He might be the best player in the world before he turns 22.

He didn't make a video bashing Thom's coaching in their loss because Coach knew that they did well in their defense but instead, he made a video praising Wembanyama's defense; not the Spurs because they sucked as a team; they are over eight points better on D with Wemby on the floor and in those five games he missed, they posted a defensive rating of 118.9, worse than their season average.
