We need in that case rééducate our nervous system to desensitise it. Breathing exercice, stretching like yoga, light exercises, goods sleep, therapy, diet. Notice that diet on the pyramide and that lifestyle are at the bottom. So the most important. It is important to reeducate the nervous system by giving it a sense of calmness again.

Absolutely spot on explanation….this is exactly my experience. I would say for me it started in the womb with my mother having a very stressful life and pregnancy. I then had a stressful childhood. I actually thought my childhood was ok 🤦🏽‍♀️…. It wasn’t!! I witnessed a lot of violence and abuse. I clearly remember at 5 years old I was looking around at my family members & thinking who do I need to be like survive in this family. One of my siblings was more contained than the others & I felt I would need to be more like her …she was 11 and was the most self assured out of my 5 siblings. She was heavily in to sports and stronger in mind than the others. I was a little sickly, always had aches and pains. So I decided I had to FAKE away not feeling so good ….mainly so my mother wouldn’t stop me from doing things & to basically survive the family dynamics. Well that decision was how I then presented myself in life till now at 58! I have suffered from adrenal fatigue for well over 35 years if not all my life…( having major crashes & then using up all my energy to FAKE being well and then crash again). I recently said to my sister I need to be well enough to be able to Fake being well !🤦🏽‍♀️
That is not a great statement to heal from !!!
I am now going back to basics starting to become fully aware of my stress responses not just academically but in real life as it affects me. I feel I am about to start a journey in firstly being AWARE of my process & changing my stress response ….it really feels like I have to change my innate DNA of how to perceive life in order to do this !
Also not to rush in to looking for the magic bullet scenario …there isn’t one !
If you don’t start at the core ie the stress response you will just go around in circles! Trust me I’ve done it! NOW IS THE TIME TO DO IT DIFFERENTLY ….. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
