Lenny Belardo is no ordinary Pope. He is the youngest and first American Pope in history. We find him on the morning of his first day in office, preparing to enter into the power struggles inside the closed, secretive Vatican state.

The Young Pope stars Jude Law and Diane Keaton and plays out against the stunning backdrop of papal Rome. The modern-day drama was created by Oscar winning director Paolo Sorrentino.

If some of the clueless fanatics actually delved more into the show they'd realise how conservative Lenny is. And this is not a 'Hollywood' corruption idea, it's a well made story about a man with his own personal issues in a position of power, struggling with his past and the future of his unsure faith. So watch it!

If you have doubts whether you should watch this or not, please do. It really is incredible. This is such a unique show, I've never seen anything quite like it and it really captures you from the first episode and manages to hold your interest till the last episode. And obviously one of the best things about this show is Jude Law. His performances in every episode are brilliant, in a way that really holds your attention but doesn't strand you from the plot and show itself. He was a prefect choice for the role, and in my opinion just his performance alone is a good enough reason to watch this series.
