I get a crackling effect when I spray mine on. I have tried to thin it out along with just using it out of the bottle in my brush. I only do one pass and it comes out blob like, then when it dries with paint over top (also dried) it looks like crackle paint

Can this be applied with brush or does it need spray gun

Wow your results are amazing. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but when I use the chipping medium my paint cracks. I apply paint, let it dry 24hs then apply chipping medium mixed with a bit of water. Let it dry 30 min. Apply paint and immediately starts cracking 😱. What am I doing wrong? I applied the chipping medium with a brush instead of airbrush.

So I go out and buy some product like Vallejo chipping medium and then I watch a tutorial like this. Why do they always start out with “Now that you’ve finished curing this other product you’ve never heard of” you can mix your medium with this other product you’ve never hear of” and end with “and now make sure to apply this third product you’ve never heard of”.
Meanwhile I’ve got a table full of different products that may or may not be those things under a different name.
