Not coke or sprite. That is a reaction of hydrogen peroxide and probably potassium iodide commonly known as elephant toothpaste. The mentos and what little coke and sprite added to the reaction may have had some effect of making it foam a bit more, but I doubt it. I've played with carbonated beverages and mentos quite a bit. All the mentos does is have a large surface area for the CO2 to nucleate on, rapidly pulling the CO2 from the beverage and causing a fountain of fizz. Label your video correctly please, trying to pass this as a simple coke and mentos "experiment" is insulting.

Man made elephant toothpaste not an explosion- On top of that Most of the mentos are orbies and only like 10 are mentos. And too top THAT OFF The sprite is Green, Aswell as the color being red for the explosion. One thing I really love is how in the discription it says "This is going to be an awesome dude." Ok, so what else do you have in there? 1st the big bottles of "coke" we gray in color so definitely not actual coke, sprite is not green and 90% of that was NOT mentos. So what chemicals did you throw in there for that reaction?
