Yes - it would have been good if you mentioned the app when you referenced it at beginning of this video

What’s the name of Apps for the smart phone?

Yes you can turn that off, you can also set the transfer file to 640x480. To turn it off press the Take Photos button and then launch settings - there is an ON/OFF switch for Download after shooting.

Can you adjust exporure settings within the app, like ISO, aperture, shutter, etc...? The app called "DSLR Dashboard" can do it with my Nikon D5100, but only with OTG cable, no wifi support.

Could you please be more specific on the app you download, since the one i have does not look like that one.

So I plug in my adapter and select the Nikon for the wifi, but always in the middle of downloading the picture from the camera it disconnects. Wtheck?

I have been testing the DSLR controller. It is very nifty but I find it very buggy with the T4i, works great with my 5DM3. It does require you to have a device wired to your camera that is obviously much larger than a little dongle but it is a possible solution.

You mean resizes photos before download? There is a setting, you choose to download everything at 640 x 480 or full resolution. So yes -I just wish there was more options.

Drew, sorry I missed this message. It cannot be used as intervalometer, it is very basic - just simple shots. I don't think it can be used for long exposures either. I have to double check. Feel free to send me a message on facebook reminding me to check if you don't hear from me soon.

Here's what I love about your videos, I don't even own a Nikon and I still learned loads more than some other online sources. Thanks for the great videos. keep them up. :)

Hello, I realize this is a older video But I have a Nikon D5200, I am looking to transfer video from my Camera to cell phone (for YouTube) will the WU-1a transfer Video? If so about how long would it take to transfer, say a 10 minute video? Seeing that technology has grown and advanced since the making of this video, are there any newer devices that I could use to quickly and effectively transfer a video from my Nikon D5200 to my cell phone? I do not have a tablet or laptop. Please Help

I keep trying to connect my Nikon D3200 to a monitor using an mini HDMI to HDMI cord and when I go into settings to change the HDMI, it either won't let me change the settings by saying "This option is not available at current settings or in the cameras current state" when the cord is connected, and when it isn't connected I change the HDMI settings to "1080p" for the first one and "no" for the second, but it doesn't seem to do anything after plugging the cord back in. I've tried it on a few monitors at this point (thought it might be the screen it was an older tv) but still can't make it work. I also reset the entire camera to factory settings already. What am I doing wrong? 😭

For those who are wondering, it also works with the D7100.
