Palm Cockatoo – STRANGEST PARROT BEAK! Double beak with mouth inside mouth 😲

Wow, check out the incredible beak and mouth of a Palm Cockatoo! It's unlike any parrot beak you've ever seen. Besides being huge, the Palm Cockatoo's beak has an odd double claw shape. Also, the Palm Cockatoo has a funny way of eating food. It uses its tongue to bring small bits of food through the internal mouth opening which you can see up close in this video. It's like it has a mouth inside its mouth.

Fascinating! I have been around one of these birds. Her name was Guinness, she was very sweet, and liked to eat fresh peas from my garden when I went to visit her.

It's weirding me out that the cheeks aren't red and the tongue isn't bicolored with the red and black. People aren't able to see just how grand these birds are in real life. They're really stunning especially with the crest up.
