THE MAKING OF THE AMIRI AUTUMN-WINTER 2023 RUNWAY SHOW

AMIRI releases an exclusive, behind-the-scenes film documenting the process behind the Autumn-Winter 2023 collection and show. What began with Mike Amiri speaking to legendary producer DJ Premier in his Queens studio, evolved into a collection inspired by the meticulous layering, sampling and improvisation of music production. The artistic journey evolves, culminating in AMIRI’s show in Paris, set on a giant vinyl record runway and soundtracked by a live score performed by DJ Premier & The Badder Band.

Love him or hate him I think he still has talent as a designer even though in my opinion Amiri is very inspired by designers such as Saint Laurent, Celine and maybe even LV. You can tell he has been honing his craft and has opened up his brand to have more of its own identity. Throughout the past couple of years I can see MA growth and over time I think the brand will continue to get better.
