Ubisoft has finally presented very first gameplay of Assassin's Creed 3 Remastered for current gen consoles.
and what we can observe is that final version will surely receive some proper upgrades like additional lightning effects, fog, and character model upgrades.

It's really hard to truly compare when the lighting/time of day is drastically different, and the fact that the remastered footage is taken from a compressed Youtube video, and then compressed again for this video.

you're comparing a youtube trailer to a game recording... the quality of the remastered trailer here sucks..

That's not really a proper representation of the Remaster since it came from a video and the Original came from an actual hi res screen capture. You're really down playing the look of the remaster.

They managed to make a 7 year old game look much worse in its "remaster". Bravo, Ubisoft. Glad I gave up on all Ubisoft products many years ago.

if you look closely its not that the remaster looks worse its the new lighting engine that hurts some of the scenes but in some cases the lighting makes the game look way better, but ill agree achilles does look quite chalky but thats more a cause of the brighter light not the remaster itself

1:04 So instead fixing the flicking texture bug they would rather just change the camera angle.

I only hope they would bother to fix the 60+FPS bugs.
