Learn advanced black and white edit in photoshop

It's very simple and there are many ways to edit your portraits to black and white, here is one of the trick which I usually use.

Step 01: Add Black and white adjustment layer and tune it according to your preference

Step 02: Add gradient map and select basic color in it, now add black and white slider in between and adjust it untill you get the result

Step 03: Invert the mask using brush tool paint accordingly

Step 04: Add levels and tune it accordingly.
