My theory is they intergrated the Nathans making them one person. For legal reasons within the show. I dont think they actually killed off the copies.

Nathan-2, the copied version, is the one who remains. Here's why. When he was captured, Nathan-2 was wearing a grey T-shirt with a uniform color, whereas Nathan-1, the original with a physical body, was wearing a striped shirt. In the final scene, Nathan's T-shirt appears to have a uniform color, albeit darker due to poor lighting conditions.

Its obviously Nathan 3 who remains. For production reasons both Noras and Ingrids fiance's are disposed of. The physical download thread is disposed of. So they have a love triangle in Lakeview again to keep the writers happy into season 4.

It looks like the copy has been destroyed. Not as wise thing to do though as killing off the protagonist's consciousness from the first 2 seasons would sour the whole show - and they're strongly hinting that all the copies have been destroyed and only the actual consciousnesses has been retained.

But then, the expected wouldn't be as entertaining.

The real life Nathan and Nora relationship has been boring. Ingrid and Nathan make a more entertaining couple and Nathan's more entertaining to watch in Lakeview.

Horizon will want to hide all knowledge that it's safe for uploads to download, so deleting the real consciousness which has more dodgy memories makes more sense. To be as entertaining as possible, it will most likely turn out that the real Nathan still exists on a back up drive somewhere. There will be some adventure at some point to find and re-upload the real Nathan. They will probably upload his real consciousness at some point and disguise him as another avatar, maybe Choke. Choke will then find some excuse for wanting to look like Nathan. 😂

i finished watching it last might and i have to say, , the first season was the best but season 2 and 3 was first season felt like a nice season but the other 2 felt like they were acting so series
