Lancaster City is a special place and I'm grateful to have lived there from 2010-2012. It can be a rough city but I wouldn't take my time and how it was spent there back for the world. It truly is a living, breathing, insanely dense metropolis with infinite amount of diverse characters. It's like its own movie.

I love Lancaster. Been going camping out there since I was 6 and now 37. It's only a hour away from Philadelphia and I now take my own children out there.

I'm in love! W/Lancaster and a current resident from there and am SERIOUSLY thinking about making the move from Aurora, Oregon. I was 35% there before this video, I am 75% there. WOW, I could really see it being "MY LANCASTER" (SERIOUSLY). Great video, I must see/learn more.

I was born in Lancaster UK in 1943. Was your town named after our City and county town of LANCASHIRE?

On my father's side of the family is a small town called Lancaster in northwestern Minnesota where I'd visit aunts and uncles often while growing up.


I have also visited the lovely Lancaster Pennsylvania before too. I almost moved there once because of a job interview my husband had there. Also, I recently just found out that I had a great grandmother on my mom's side that was from there.


Today, but not planned this way or by any choosing of the name Lancaster for a town intentionally, I just happen to really be living on a farm in Lancaster South Carolina. Lol


There must be something about that name for a town Lancaster.

If you get out of that 2 to 3 block area of the square then all bets are off. Even then you see countless homeless around the square area or drug addicts feening for their next fix.

Nothing about the crime rate? OK. The crime rate in Lancaster exceeds state and national levels. Currently there are over twenty unsolved homicides.
