Media and Congress quit asking for further disclosures!!! Like with any legal proceeding, there are essential needs to protect the case and not have anything ruin the case. Also, I question ppl’s intentions when they demand this information!

What is wrong with these people? The basis for the search was he refused to turn over "all" the documents requested by a subpoena. The FBI would have done this to anyone that they previously requested documents from and were ignored - anyone.

Well done the DoJ and FBI for not surrendering to pressure and patiently pursuing tthe matter. No one should be above the law whether it be a Republican, a Democrat or just an ordinary citizen.

Not mentioned in the piece, but releasing the affidavit would enable future crimes in that Trump, knowing who is informing, would banish the informers, narrow down who is trustworthy (to his crime-scheme) and only use loyals for future crimes like box-shuffling or document pedaling. Not releasing the id's of informants suppresses his near-future crimes, and the judge has an obligation to maintain that.

Given how most other criminal search warrants include confidential witnesses who are never disclosed due to foreseeable consequences to the witness or parties involved, ading what Trump's supporters have done on Jan. 6, 2021 and most recently, what MAGA judge would agree to releasing the affidavit? Does anyone think Trump and his supporters act in good faith?
