A BEAUTIFUL SOULFUL WOMAN - the Miracle of BEING

Part of the amazing thing about being a human being is that we are able to have a wide range of emotions.

Think of your feelings as waves on the ocean. They come and go, rise and fall. No feeling lasts forever, and anger and sadness are necessary, helpful parts of the human experience. But when we try to suppress these emotions, we are unable to truly thrive as people. Part of having a full life is feeling all of your emotions. It is beaming with joy, and feeling like your heart is full of gratitude during some moments. It is also experiencing heartbreak and disappointment and truly letting yourself sit with these feelings.

All of our emotions contain gifts and help us to truly grow as people. You deserve to let yourself experience all of your emotions, and to treat yourself with kindness and care.

As 27 years old, who is living with cancer since 7 years, I can only tell that it's only truth. Being a live, being able to walk, dance, cry, laugh, make love etc. it is huge mercy in life! Love yourself deeply with your all sorrows and insecurities and there will be always others, who will love you too. ❤️

You really do speak for so many of us Christy ..those of us who lack the courage and wisdom you have shared. I also was lost after a marriage of 30yrs. No children or family and disabled. I spent 2yrs totally alone finding my way back to that brave girl I was as a child. Now...I am so proud of me and ladies like me and you. Our soul rise to a better place. You are beautiful in everyway thank you.

The kindness of the comments❤️, so powerful when she says we can’t ask for the long life but we can ask for a beautiful life, those words are answers to a prayer.

My partner is listening in and just said, "How could anyone leave this beautiful woman?" You truly are a beautiful soul. You have brought tears to our eyes with your beautiful message of hope! Thank you!

Its hard not to cry watching the poignancy of her testimony and strength Christy shows to us. I hope and pray for her to carry on and overcome her challenges. Love the wonderful smile of her son who is clearly comforting to her.

"My daughter says "If you want a flower, you'll find a flower." So the learning of where the flowers are in my life -- that's been my journey." This is such a beautiful sentiment. Thank you.

Dear Christy, your story really resonated with me. I too divorced after 20 years of marriage. It was the darkest, most frightening time of my life. I remember so well the feeling that I was on a raft in the middle of the ocean. As I battled to get my life back on course, I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. It was such a painful struggle, I could barely walk.

Twenty years later, I am happy and content and know my body and its limits so much better. I have learned to avoid stress and pace myself to help with the flare ups. I am still on my own but, whereas previously I had felt unlovable, I now love myself.

Sending you a big hug and wishing you and your children a wonderful life. xx

"When crying gets easier, laughing gets easier. Once you cry, you leave a little bit of space for the joy to come in" 💔💖
"Just being is a miracle.
Just being alive is a miracle.
Instead of berating my poor shaky body,
I should be saying "bloody well done for getting through this. Well done! I'm proud of you!" Yes, indeed the whole world and heavens above rejoice with you, bloody well done sweetheart! 👏❤️ 🏆❤️💪

I’m so grateful for your willingness to be so vulnerable with your joys, your fears, your love, your self reflections. It makes us all feel safe to share ourselves with each other. Much love and appreciation

When she said that she can't take away the pain from her kids, but she can allow them to have their pain- that made tears come into my eyes. It really hit me deep.
What a beautiful and strong statement that is. Allowing people to have their own pain, acknowledging that we cannot take away nor we should take away no one's pain. Allowing people to be who they are, however they are - that's hard. So beautiful and inspiring.
