Not a snake person but love these constructive informative comments. Hope she sees them. Wish people would learn about whatever they are getting so animals/reptiles could get best possible care. Just because we can doesn't mean we should!

Fun fact! This snake is technically not farting, even though it sounds like it is. This snake is drawing in air through its mouth and pushing it out its cloaca. Snakes do this when there is something like a piece of bedding stuck in their system. Personally i do not use aspen bedding for my ball pythons because they like it to be more humid than dry. I use coconut fiber bedding for my ball pythons i have never had a snake "fart" because coconut fiber is so small the chance of it getting stuck in the digestive track is very low. Theres a couple other things i dont agree with like the set up has little to no cover. There are no leaves or 'bushes' to keep the snake feeling safe as it moves around its enclosure, adding bundles of vines or fake leaves around also is a great form of enrichment. This ball python also only has one place to hide and its on the cold side. Every snake should have two hiding places, one on the cold end and one on the warm end. As mentioned before aspen bedding does not provide the moisture that a ball python needs, this could be another reason why its bedding got stuck in its digestive track. And the last thing I'm going to mention is the tv being set right above the cage. Snakes can hear and feel vibrations, my snakes do not like when i blast music in my room. I can only imagine how this snake feels with the little cover it gets when they watch a movie on the tv. I dont say this to shame the snake owner i say this so people can be educated. Maybe the snake owner didn't know any of this. But even so everyone should do their research on an animal before buying it.
