This Gregg Wallace explosion in the news is a sad testimony to the state of Britain. This is the journalism we crave and deserve because we care more about this type of gossip drama than real serious issues. Gutter journalism by gutter journalists for a gutter society.

No one said gordon ramsey bullied people on his show which he clearly did.

So thirteen years later she's offended really

And that is the crux of the problem, is that many men, all over the world, behaving like that, people cannot afford to take the appropriate action especially when, they are backed-up by cronies and cliques. It is everywhere!

The "allegations" are that he told off colour jokes, that he fancied himself and he was completely obnoxious. I only know the guy from occasionally seeing him on TV, but that is pretty much how he comes across when the camera is rolling. I really don't see how the fact these people didn't like what he said or who he was, is an allegation. I haven't seen anyone say he bullied or harassed or assaulted them. You cant get arrested for possession of an offensive sense of humour

So why didn't you come out at the time and say something? it was 13 years just jumping on the band wagon...

So it took 13 years for her to know she was offended by Wallace. And of all people Kim Woodburn is offended by him.

My cousin years ago dined in the same restaurant as him. She said their evening was spoiled by him being there. He was obnoxious, very loud and treated staff disrespectfully. She said if it had been anyone else they would have been asked to leave. My deae cousin died a few weeks ago but if she hadn't she would have been on the phone to me saying ' I told you he was s wrong un.'
Not defending him, I know nothing about the man. There are so many complaints coming out about men, many historic. I think now men have to think before opening their mouth or take any action about anything., I wouldn't want to be one.

"inappropriate comments" Really? If they were so offended why didn't they call him out at the time. From everything said so far this is just a witch hunt. This has been the lead story on most major news channels and quite frankly that in itself is disgusting and something I find offensive.

Gregg Wallace has behaved boorishly with his attempts at banter with women and his TV career is probably over.
What I find sad is watching so many of the “Wokerati” queuing up to kick him while he’s down . I thought being woke meant having empathy.

We used to be a country that respected freedom of speech. Ultimately anyone can be offended by anything anyone says. We are reaching a point where we can't open our mouths without risk of being sued. Ultimately we don't know exactly what is alleged he said. But he is tried convicted and found guilty in the court of public opinion, before the outcome of an investigation is complete and before he is found guilty by a jury in a court of law. Ultimately anyone accused of this kind of issues should have anonymity as the victims do, until they have been found guilty.
