Merci, thank you for making video as someone who speaks Spanish and English trying to learn French, the alphabet is confusing as I hear a mixture of both language plus unique French sounds in others such as E. So a slow tutorial like this is a life saver

As a native Chinese living in English speaking country, who've learnt very simple German decades ago, I always messed up German and French alphabet pronunciation especially for the words of B-C-D-Y. Thank you for the video so that I can watch your lips moving which is very helpful! Tres bien!

This is great. Thank you. It seems like g and j are pronounced opposite in english, and that w and y are the two that don’t sound anything like the english pronunciation.

When you set out to learn another language, you should learn the forms and accents most used by educated speakers or a Modern Standard model, as in Arabic or Mandarin. Usually the forms most used by TV, newspapers or other media are the currently accepted standards. Except in the US, where the media has become less of an educated standard and trying to hit the lowest common denominator.
I took French 60 years ago in college and have been able to read it over the years. So at suggestions from various sources about how for elderly people to keep their minds active, I decided to become fluent, or at least be able to speak French without giving offense to a native speaker. I am using the FSI courses, free on the internet now. The FSI French Phonology course is one of the hardest courses I ever attempted. I can watch Cindy and she can clear up any difficulties I am having.
Cindy is the best. I have been having trouble with mouth and tongue positions for "e", "u" and "l", that is "L". This video made it clear to me.
I see that with 79 thumbs down, there are 79 people walking around on this planet with no souls.
