Just finished Nettle and Bone and I adored it. 5⭐️ it was witty and deep and a twist on fairytales and I just loved it so much.

I have to recommend Normal People & Beautiful World Where Are You by Sally Rooney. The opinions are very divided on her books but I really love them. They kind of remind me about what you said about Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine…. less about the plot and more about the characters and how it makes you feel.
