Fiio FW5 REVIEW: It doesn't make sense

Making hifi products is one thing, making them truly wireless devices is another entirely. And the Fiio FW5 is a good example of that. Looking for something better than AirPods? I don't think this is it, fam.

I got a pair of these in December and I love them. I 100% get your grievances.

For me, these are the first great sounding wireless IEMs that don’t hurt my ears, and with the EQ in the app, the high end is no longer an issue.

I barely use buttons on wireless IEMs, no matter how useful, but I’m glad they’re physical and not on the outside, so I can rest my head on a pillow or adjust them without triggering some control.

Try Final ZE3000. I think you might like those. Very neutral signature.

The FW5 is pretty much a UTWS 5 with preattached IEMS, i have to agree with the functionality. FiiO hardware is pretty decent imo, but their soft and firmware experience is just awful. Still love the sound of my UTWS5 but maaaan the firmware is horrifyingly bad.
