This took "I paid for campaign, I will use 100% of the campaign" to a whole new level.

I always viewed the Master Chief as accomplishing missions like this. In the cutscenes we've seen of him, he does do stuff like this - taking out a whole covenant cruiser by freefalling with the bomb 10 miles across space with a giant bomb.... falling from space and being totally fine.... and I view the actions we take as the Chief in game as being what he is actually like, too.

The reason why he is the best Spartan, he gets jobs done in insane ways you didn't even think were possible.

All the covenant lined up in their little ambush positions but the Chief just found a way to parkour up to the rooftops and skips it all. Then bombs them all at the end of the mission anyways.

You get the Chief to do the mission, and he will go out of bounds and stealth complete it in ways you just didn't think were possible. Or he crashes down out of the sky with a nuke or something.

A truly abnormal operative.

These are the results of moving faster than the spin of a Halo ring while using MJOLNIR shields that eliminate air resistance, the Forerunners simply couldn't plan for this.
