Meerkats & Ostrich Eggs

Paws up, who saw our lovely meerkats enjoying some ostrich eggs with Jean in the latest series of Animal Park? Well for anyone who missed it, our meerkats have been enjoying some more egg-celent treats. These inquisitive cuties love experiencing new things, and these eggs had an extra little bonus - their favourite snack, mealworms! Meerkats also eat lots of insects in the wild, but their diet is very varied and includes things like birds, lizards and even fruit.
