Good video, quick and easy 👍 another tip to keep momentum through this is to hold powerslide through the zap dash, because sometimes I tilt too far to the right/left and lose the speed I gained

I accidentally do this (mainly spinning out though) when I do my wave dash kick offs. I can never figure out who to intentionally or if it could ever be something that could be viable. This is really interesting to see

It gets a lot easier to get the dash after the speedflip if you focus on hitting both front wheels on the ground at the same time and let go of the left stick before jumping again

This mechanic has existed for years under the name "sonic flip".
Perhaps now that they're being employed in speedflips the appropriate name is sonic speedflip.

This mechanic was covered and explained by Rocket Science over 2 years back though. Did people only start noticing after Zap started doing it everywhere? :p ''Landing wavedash'' or ''landing wavedash after speedflip''.
